In order to stabilize the basic market of foreign trade, the government has issued a series of policies and measures. In addition to striving to expand the international market and seize the opportunity to expand exports, the government has turned its attention to the domestic market and opened up channels for domestic sales. Recently, a series of activities (Xi'an) sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shaanxi provincial government for the transformation of export products into domestic sales is in full swing.
In order to deeply understand the practical problems and difficulties of local foreign trade enterprises, the Secretariat of Xi'an Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export went to Kaiyuan square of Datang all night city on the evening of July 27 to investigate the local foreign trade enterprises.
At present, we have learned that there are still many problems in the transformation of foreign trade enterprises from export to domestic sales
1. For some export-oriented enterprises, the products are produced according to the needs of foreign customers, and transferring to domestic sales means that they should have enough inventory to cope with the domestic market. Therefore, the inventory problem is a major problem faced by some export-oriented enterprises in the process of transferring to domestic sales in a short period of time;
2. Most of the products exported by local foreign trade enterprises do not have their own trademarks and brands. If they want to sell in China through large supermarkets, they must register their trademarks. However, it takes two years to register a trademark in China, which is too long, which is a challenge for foreign trade enterprises to sell at home;
3. The production equipment and product standards of foreign trade enterprises are prepared and designed according to the foreign market. There are differences between domestic market standards and foreign market standards. Enterprises need to pay a certain amount of time and cost to adapt;
4. The domestic market is relatively mature, and foreign trade enterprises are lack of sales channels for export to domestic sales, and they are unable to compete with the enterprises that have been engaged in domestic sales, and will face more fierce market competition.
Therefore, in a short period of time, a large part of foreign trade enterprises export to domestic sales benefit is not high.
Xi'an import and Export Chamber of Commerce hopes to fundamentally solve the practical problems of enterprises - to explore foreign markets and find effective customers. In difficult times, foreign trade enterprises should not only survive, but also develop.
